They Look Like People

Tonight's horror flick was the indie horror film They Look Like People. Ehhh... I don't honestly have a whole lot to say about this movie. A good premise is ruined by an absolute shit ending, yet again showcasing how so many horror directors don't know how to seal the deal. Basically the movie centers around a man who goes to visit an old friend in NYC and starts to feel that people in the world are not actually people but rather weird monsters. Throughout the movie you question his sanity, and while the ending seems give an answer, it's so underwhelming after a movie worth of build that you're left incredibly disappointed. They Look Like People is too indie and thus becomes yet another bit of horror to throw in the forgettable pile. Hey, just like this review!
